Following on from my post a few weeks back, which is still gettin heavy rotation from 'Big L', I thought I'd throw up another Premo collab with Rakim.
This track is from Rakim's second solo album, 1999's 'The Master', and demonstrates perfectly why he is renowned as one of the all-time greats in the game.
Enjoy, laters.

Crimbo day sesh was a bit weak but we hit the park on Boxing day (today) and had a sick sesh. Grindmaster flash was in full effect as was Bengo n D-rope. Best thing I heard all night was Harry Main shouting "ey Jay check this" and busteing a flair on Jay Bean's bike landing with the biggest snap I've heard in ages. I was creased for so long. I filmed a short box sesh so I'll wack it up tomorra cuz right now I'm goin for drinks. Hope You've had a sick christmas and got some good shit!

So its finally Chrimbo Eve which means you should be chillin now cos a) everythings done or b) its too late now so f**k it! To add a little Christmas spirit to StockRaps heres a 1987 banger from Run DMC with 'Christmas in Hollis'. I love the fact that hip-hop used to have a sense of humour like this, but then given the tune is sampled off Clarence Carter's 'Back Door Santa' they'd of had a hard job not to take the piss!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE FROM MOO!!

Just watching this trailer for Nonstop I made a couple of years ago had me thinking about how much has changed in the last two years. Not just in my life but in my friends and BMX itself. It's crazy how fast a year flies by without even giving a thought as to what you've been up to and what you've done. It's easy to look back to a few years ago, not thinking about recent times, and say it was good back then. In saying this are you implying that it's not good now or stuff can't be as good as it was then? People move away, people get girlfriends, jobs with long hours, new hobbies etc and yes, things change! I don't know where I'm heading with this but basically wouldn't you wanna look back to now in a few years and be thinking "shit, it was good back then". Not every day is gunna be good because without the bad ones good ones couldn't exist. Whether you plan out your days or take them as they come, your day is what you make it.

I'm currently out in Lyon filming with Maxime and it's been snowing since I got here. Although it didn't stop Maxime filming a stand out banger, the weather here is worse than the UK, I probably couldn't have picked a worse time to come out. Hit read more for an actual comparison.

Bengo, as always, is a badman. Yesterday I witnessed him do the best whiplashes and G-turn I've seen in real life. Here he is with simplicity itself the bunnyhop. RideUK issue 135.

Today back in 1992 (FUCK - 17yrs ago!) 'The Chronic' by Dr. Dre dropped and changed the hip-hop landscape, pushing the West Coast in to the limelight. Although 'Deep Cover' never made it on to the album (Ice-T and the furore around Cop Killer playing their part), it was the first commercial showcase of Dre as a solo act post-NWA and the first colab between him and Snoop.
Anyway enjoy the tune, smirk at Snoop's steez, and incase it tempts you to actually see the film interspersed throughout the video, let me save you the time - DON'T!
